Getting Started with Your Slack Account
This guide will help you quickly set up your Slack account, join your team workspace, and start collaborating with ease. Just follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Install Slack
Click this link to download and install Slack on your device. Follow the installation prompts.

Click the “Download on the App Store” button.

Tap the cloud icon or the “Install” button to begin downloading.

Step 2: Sign Up or Log In
If you don’t have an account, click “Sign In” and follow the instructions to create your account using your email.
If you already have an account, click “Log In” and enter your credentials.

Open your Slack app and click Sign In.

Click the G (Google) button.

You will be redirected to your Google account.
Select your Google account.

When prompted, click Open.

In the "Sign in to Slack" screen, click Continue.

Click Turn On Notifications.

Step 3: Join Your Workspace
After logging in, check your email invitation and click the link to join the workspace directly.

Step 4: Set Up Your Profile
Change your display name to: First name – Region Code (Example : Elay-PMQ)
Region Codes: PMQ • ILL • TWD • CAN • GLB • YAM • BYR
Step 5: Start Using Slack
Explore channels, send messages, and collaborate with your team!
Use the search bar to find conversations or files.
